Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use, and how to control them.
Last updated May 2026
The short version
This site currently sets no cookies of its own. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioural tracking technology.
This will change if and when we are approved for the Google AdSense programme. Before AdSense cookies are set, you will see a consent banner allowing you to accept or reject them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the site you're visiting) or "third-party" (set by another service the page loads, such as an advertising network). They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" (lasting weeks, months or years).
UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and UK GDPR govern how UK sites must use cookies. Essential cookies โ those strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for โ do not require consent. All others do.

Cookies we may use in future
If we are approved for Google AdSense, advertising cookies may be set. These typically include:
__gads,__gpi,NID, and similar Google advertising identifiers.- Vendor cookies from advertising partners participating in the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework.
These cookies enable Google to personalise the advertisements shown to you and to measure ad performance. Before any are set, we will display a clear consent banner explaining your options. If you reject, non-personalised ads will be shown instead and no advertising cookies will be placed.
How to control cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- Block all cookies.
- Block third-party cookies only.
- Delete cookies on closing the browser.
- Allow cookies from specific sites only.
